Federal Pell Grant Program

The Federal Pell Grant Program is the largest Student Aid Program. The maximum award is $4,050.00 for Fiscal Year 2004 - 2005. Most students attend in two fiscal years. This money does not have to be paid back if you complete the course at Career Beauty College. There is no maximum age limit for this program.

Federal Stafford Student Loan Program

A Federal Stafford Student Loan is a low-interest loan made to you by a bank. These loans are insured by the Federal Government and are administered by the Northwest Education Loan Association (NELA). The maximum loan amount is $2,625.00 per academic year (1,200 hours). You may apply for a Stafford Student Loan after you have attended school for one hundred (100) hours. Generally you have five years in which to repay.
